PEEK-Filled PTFE is one of the most technically advanced filled PTFE compounds available. By incorporating finely dispersed PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone) particles into the PTFE matrix, this grade achieves a remarkable combination of properties that neither material alone can provide: the chemical inertness, low friction, and non-stick character of PTFE combined with the exceptional mechanical strength, hardness, and creep resistance of PEEK.

The result is a high-performance sealing and bearing material that withstands higher loads, higher speeds, and more aggressive chemical environments than any standard single-filler PTFE compound — including glass-filled, carbon-filled, or bronze-filled grades. It is the compound of choice for the most demanding dynamic sealing, high-pressure, and high-temperature applications in oil & gas, chemical processing, aerospace, and semiconductor industries.

PEEK filler is chemically inert, meaning it does not corrode, leach, or react with process media — making PEEK-filled PTFE safe for pharmaceutical, food-contact, and ultra-high-purity environments. There is no metallic contamination risk.

Description

Hi-Tech Polymers supplies PEEK-filled PTFE in sheet, rod, and tube form and manufactures precision-machined finished components from all stock using our fully equipped in-house CNC and VMC machining facility.

Compressive Strength: Very high — among the best of all PTFE compounds

Operating Temperature: -200°C to +260°C continuous (limited by PTFE matrix)
