UHMW-PE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene), also known as PE 1000, is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic known for its extremely high molecular weight, resulting in exceptional wear resistance and impact strength. It is widely used in applications where abrasion resistance, low friction, and long service life are critical.

In solid form, UHMW-PE is available as sheets, rods, and custom profiles for machining and fabrication. It is extensively used in high-wear environments such as conveyor systems, liners, chutes, guide rails, and impact plates. Its ultra-low coefficient of friction allows smooth sliding performance, making it ideal for material handling and packaging industries.

UHMW-PE exhibits excellent chemical resistance and virtually zero moisture absorption, ensuring dimensional stability even in wet or corrosive environments.

Description

It performs exceptionally well at low temperatures and maintains high impact strength even under extreme conditions.
Due to its superior abrasion resistance and self-lubricating properties, UHMW-PE is a preferred material for demanding industrial, mining, cement, food processing, and bulk material handling applications.
