Hi-Tech Polymers supplies Turcite® in all three colour grades and manufactures finished components from stock using our in-house CNC turning centres, VMCs, and conventional machining equipment.

Grades Available

- Turcite® Red (X) — High wear resistance; suited for dynamic, high-speed, dry-running contacts

Technical Details
Rods
- Diameter: Ø10 mm to Ø150 mm (all three colour grades)
- Standard lengths: 300 mm, 500 mm, 1000 mm
- Used for machining bushings, bearings, guide pads, and custom turned components
- Custom cut sizes and thicknesses available on request
Tubes
- OD/ID combinations available on request
- Wall thickness as per application requirement
- Suitable for bushing and sleeve applications where bore and OD are both critical

Turcite Skived Rolls
- Thickness range: 0.5 mm to 6 mm (most common: 1.5 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm)
- Roll width: 25 mm to 600 mm (standard widths; custom widths available)
- Roll length: up to several metres per roll depending on thickness
- Surface finish: smooth on one face, textured/grooved on bonding face (for adhesive bonding)
- Supplied with or without pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing on request
Turcite® Strips & Cut Pieces
- Strips cut to width from skived rolls — supplied to exact width and length
- Standard and custom widths: 10 mm to 600 mm
- Lengths: cut to order
- Used for direct bonding onto slideway surfaces without further machining
- Tolerance on thickness: ±0.05 mm for precision slideway applications

Bonding & Installation Support
- Turcite® is typically bonded to metal slideways using epoxy adhesive (Araldite AW106 or equivalent)
- We supply Turcite® pre-cut and pre-finished ready for bonding
- Bonding face can be supplied lightly abraded or grooved to improve adhesion
- Technical guidance on bonding procedure and surface preparation available on request
